Networking session: 2024 UTS Social Impact Grants – Community-engaged research and practice
Event description
Join us for one of two networking events and find yourself a partner for a UTS Social Impact Grants – Community-engaged research and practice application.
The two sessions (one face-to-face and one online) will bring together UTS staff, students, and community members to find common ground and partner on projects/initiatives which have social impact.
Face-to-face session:
When: Mon 11 March, 12pm – 1.30pm
Where: 15 Broadway Ultimo (UTS Building 1, level 22, room 10). Catering will be provided.
Online session:
When: Tues 12 March, 5pm – 6.30pm
Where: Online via Zoom
At checkout, there is an option to select either the face-to-face session or online session.
Following the networking events, we encourage you to reach out to anyone you met that you think you could partner with for a UTS Social Impact Grant application.

About the UTS Social Impact Grants – Community-engaged research and practice:
These grants are focused on supporting community-engaged research and practice. Grant recipients must work in reciprocal partnership with the community to drive the purpose, design, implementation, and use of research or practice for social good.
In 2024, we have two categories of grants:
- Research and Practice Grant
- Local Community Voice Grant
Each grant is worth $5000.
